MINUTES From the Virtual General Assembly Of ISCO3 Election of the Governing Board (Art. 20 statutes) January 10, 2025

In accordance with Article 20 of the statutes it was convened a Virtual General Assembly of ISCO3 to elect the new Governing Board set up by a President, a Vice President and a Secretary for the five years term from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029. 

Preliminary considerations

Several international calls were issued by ISCO3 in the second semester of 2024 asking health professionals from any part of the world, directly related to the practice of ozone, to apply to become members of the committee. Deadline to apply: December 1, 2024.  

The virtual general assembly of December 19, 2025, elected 29 members for the period 2025-2029 and the newly elected persons were informed accordingly.

It was convening (January 5, 2025) a virtual general assembly to elect the new Governing Board on January 10, 2025 for the five years term (January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029). 

The proposal for the three positions sent to all members, along with a “basic information on each candidate”, was the following:

President: Dr. Adriana Schwartz

Vice President: Dr. Wayne McCarthy

Secretary: Mr. Roberto Quintero (with no right to vote)

All members were invited to vote electronically in the assembly, informing them that voting was a right but also an obligation.  

Integration of quorum

All the 29 members had the right to vote and participated in the voting 26 members.

The following three members with the right to vote did not participate and they 

gave no reason why they did not vote:

Mikhail J. Artamonov

Ana Gutiérrez Gossweiler
Michael K. Gossweiler 

There was quorum because an assembly is validly constituted “whatever the number of members present including delegated votes” (art. 20, c the by-laws). 

Votes casted

26 members voted. 

Voting Results

President: Dr. Adriana Schwartz: 26 votes.

Vice President: Dr. Wayne McCarthy: 26 votes.

Secretary: Mr. Roberto Quintero: 26 votes.

As a consequence, the democratically elected persons of the Governing Body for the period 2025-2029 are:

President: Dr. Adriana Schwartz.

Vice President: Dr. Wayne McCarthy.

Secretary: Mr. Roberto Quintero (with no right to vote). 

The elected persons accepted and immediately assumed their duties.

At 24:00 hours it adjourned the Virtual Extraordinary General Assembly of ISCO3. In witness whereof signed this President and the Secretary of ISCO3.
