CHILE BEGINS LEGISLATIVE PROCESS TO REGULATE OZONE THERAPY

Ten lawmakers of the House of Representatives of Chile presented the bill on December 17, 2024). 

Of the ten signatories of the project, five are physicians, who in turn are part of the Health Commission made up of thirteen deputies. 

It explicitly states that “the regulation must include, where relevant, the recommendations of the Madrid Protocol on Ozone Therapy [Madrid Declaration on Ozone Therapy].” (art. 4, final paragraph).

NEW AEPROMO GOVERNING BOARD WITH A MAJORITY OF WOMEN

The new management board of AEPROMO (2024-2028) was elected on November 23, 2024.

President Adriana Schwartz was re-elected as president. She has been president since the association was founded in 2008.

All of its members have completed the AEPROMO ozone therapy diploma course, which currently has 350 hours. Therefore, they have serious, well-founded and scientific knowledge about modern ozone therapy.

LAUNCH OF THE 4th EDITION OF THE MADRID DECLARATION ON OZONE THERAPY

“For the Unification of Criteria in the Practice of Ozone Therapy”

Official language: Spanish

It will take place at the Illustrious Official College of Physicians of Madrid (ICOMEM) on Thursday 5 June 2025. It will be followed by a post-congress course (June 6-7).

The Declaration is a living document, celebrating 15 years of existence, updated every five years (2010, 2015, 2020) by ISCO3. The Madrid Declaration is the only truly global document on ozone therapy, and its different editions have been translated into at least ten languages.

ONLINE DIPLOMA IN OZONE THERAPY (350 HOURS) BECOMES MORE PERSONALIZED

After holding eleven editions of the diploma course on equal dates for all students, now each student can choose the start date at any time, provided that he finish it seven months after having started it.

Once enrolled, the student will receive a personalized calendar with the exact dates for studying the diploma course, exams, payments, etc.

The diploma course (bilingual in Spanish and English) “Ozone Therapy and Regenerative Medicine/Integrative Approach” has been completed by health professionals from very different countries around the world.

THE ELECTED MEMBERS OF ISCO3 WRITING THE 4th EDITION OF THE MADRID DECLARATION ON OZONE THERAPY

As the end of its five-year term approaches (31 December 2024), the General Assembly proceeded to elect (19 December 2024) the new members of the committee for the next statutory period (1 January 2025-31 December 2029).

The election was held taking into account the candidacies received from different countries around the world.

The newly elected members of ISCO3 then proceeded to appoint the members of the committee's board of directors.

Dr. Adriana Schwartz, who was one of the promoters of the creation of ISCO3 in 2010, was appointed as president of ISCO3, and has been a member of its governing board ever since.

The committee is now immersed in the immense task of drafting, discussing and approving the 4th. edition of the Madrid Declaration on Ozone Therapy, which will be publicly launched in Madrid on 5 June 2025. The Madrid Declaration is the only truly global document in existence on ozone therapy.
